What a cutie. I broke the symmetry on the legs and this is my first mech posing. They are normally very rigid in the videos I've seen, but my mechs are going to be slightly more humanized when posed. I didn't break the upper arm symmetry because this was more about rendering than posing..
I learned a few things about Global Illumination and this was made with no Light objects. I forgot to set the Ambient Occlusion. GI kills shadow lines between objects so a lot of the cut detail was lost and it too soft for a mech with AO. But I'm really happy with the rest of the light results.
