i spent about eleven days designing and modeling this in Cinema 4D R11 AR3 . the rendering phase lasted about three or four days . the graphics for the screens inside the cockpit were made with screen captures of my other mech models and some basic terrain i setup in C4D
this is my baby . she looks like an evil puffin . or maybe a Robo-Skeksis . either way .. she's not happy with what you just did there .
i think this is the best of all the Mech Warrior designs i have seen . the first time i looked at one i thought "there's no way i can model that" and i abandoned the idea for weeks . then i decided to challenge myself and i added it to the list of mechs i want to build . as i studied it while building my other mechs , it slowly became my favorite . so i gave it everything
*Walter-NEST is allowing me to use his Mech Blueprints as templates to model my own set of Mechs . this is my 5th using this blueprints
with a nudge ~skeligun helped to convince me to make the inside of the cockpit . i've been wanting to do that since my first mech but again i was thinking "there's no way i can model that" .. i'm glad when i overcome those thoughts . i added a nitro tank beside the pilot seat for Skeli because his avatar says "NOS"
wow...first time i saw this it got my attention and when i loaded the deviation page i had to take a step back and go "deep breath josh, it's not going to shoot you....yet." it's very in your face and its great. that's a great amount of detail there. this is so bad-a**...it deserves to be in the game. very nice.
